Staff Vs. Students Basketball Game

On September 16, 2015, during the big event, an event was held in the school gymnasium. Students played a basketball game against the staff and teachers of Noe. The teams were pretty evenly matched, but in the end the students won albeit not by a lot. The final score was 46 to 32, the staff putting up a good fight. Not many teachers showed up to play, so some students played for the staff. The students easily took control over the staff in the first half. "Everybody needs to play better defense," remarked Hayden from 6 Pathfinders, playing for the staff.

In the second half the staff started gaining on the students. Early on, they even took the lead, 30-29. Trevon, a player on the students team, who is on 7 Voyagers, was interviewed during the second half. He said that he thought that his team needs to, "Pass the ball more". When asked on what he thinks he could do better, he replied, I am, "Working on my shooting." At the 8:25 mark, a technical foul was called on a student for unsportsmanlike behavior. The student attempted a basket in aggravation after a turnover had been called. The staff made 1 of the 2 resulting free throws. Near the end, the game was very tense, but eventually the students took control, using 3 three-pointers to power over the staff and take their rightful spot as the victors.
